Here at Harvest Bible Chapel Joliet, we call our collective Children’s Ministries for kids from Birth through 5th Grade
HIGHER GROUND. We take seriously the privilege and honor of building God’s truth into the hearts and minds of every little person who walks through our doors (or is carried in). We teach
Bible stories using the curriculum, Generations of Grace, to strengthen the child's knowledge of the Scriptures and to reinforce every week the authority of God’s Word. We have a lot of fun lifting high the name of Jesus through songs of
worship – many with hand motions. We instill the amazing truth of the power of
prayer in young hearts and minds by modeling for the children how simple it is to talk straight to our listening God. Of course, we color and laugh and play with toys, but most importantly, we share the
Good News of Jesus with the children because it is the greatest news in the universe! Every heart, no matter what age, needs to know of the immeasurable and personal love of God.
HIGHER GROUND is divided into four age groups:
- Nursery (Newborn – 18 Months) ~ Loving Care for the Littlest Among Us
Age-appropriate programs for:
- Cornerstone (Age 18 mos. – Age 3) ~ Building a Cornerstone in Christ
- RockSolid (Age 3 – Pre-K) ~ Beginning Life on the Solid Rock of God’s Ways
- BedRock (K – 3rd Grade) ~ Learning Life’s BedRock foundation of biblical Beliefs
- LifeRock (4th & 5th Grade) ~ Building Life firmly on the Rock of Jesus Christ
When you come to Harvest we will have signs and people to help direct you to get your children checked into
